This bit is used to countersink holes for screw heads in wood, plastic, and non-ferrous materials. The 2-flute integral design ensures uniform and concentric results every time. Carbide tips produce clean, chip-free hole edges and provide a much longer service life than standard steel countersinks. These bits are available in a wide variety of sizes and come complete with a fully ground HSS M2 drill bit. They are excellent for drilling in natural woods, man-made boards, MDF, chipboard, plywood, aluminum and other non-ferrous metals, aluminum composite material (ACM), composites, composite decking materials, high-density polyethylene (HDPE), and acrylic. Warning: When drilling aluminum or other non-ferrous materials, use lubricant or air cooling for optimal results and longer tool life.
