It is ideal for inlaying wood veneer and materials like brass, into either spindle stock up to 8” diameter or flat stock up to 4” wide with a curved profile, such as a bow-front drawer. The 5” extended shank (measured from the midpoint of the knife to the end of the shank) allows precise milling along larger-diameter materials while following the curved contours accurately.
