To get the best performance from your saw, use blades with negative or neutral hook angles for miter cuts, and blades with a positive hook angle for most table saw work. For general cutting of hardwood and softwood, an Alternate Top Bevel (ATB) grind is recommended, while a Triple Chip Grind (TCG) is better suited for single-sided laminate, plywood, and MDF.
