With its tough, wedge-shaped structure, aluminum oxide delivers deep penetration into hard materials while minimizing grain shedding and fracturing. It is especially effective for grinding high-tensile-strength materials such as carbon steels, alloy steels, tough bronzes, and hardwoods. Chosen when durability and resistance to fracturing are critical, aluminum oxide abrasives are most often recognized by their typical brown color.
Closed Coat Abrasive Grain Coverage The surface is fully covered with abrasive grains, providing a denser cutting action. This design delivers a smoother finish and higher stock removal throughout the product's life.
