This Non-Ferrous (NF) Flute burr is designed for cutting non-ferrous and non-metallic materials including aluminum, zinc, plastic, and wood. The aggressive flute geometry promotes fast cutting while minimizing chip loading. Features a precision-ground steel shank and clean solder joints for strength and accuracy. Applications: For use with air or electric hand die grinders with standard collets, or knee mills equipped with an air-driven spindle speeder. A quality spindle speeder can improve miniature tooling performance. Warning: Not for use in conventional routers. Recommended Materials: Aluminum, Brass, Bronze, Copper, Zinc, Plastic and Wood. ZrN Coating: Produces a harder cutting edge, extends tool life, reduces material buildup in the flutes, and allows higher operating speeds than uncoated tools.
