This 2-flute, smooth-rim carbide-tipped Forstner bit is ideal for producing clean hole edges, particularly in softwood and veneer. It offers significantly greater durability and a longer service life compared to standard carbon steel or HSS Forstner bits. The bit can be re-sharpened like carbide-tipped router bits and is designed for use with drill presses.
