This one flute “O” flute polished spiral bit creates curled chips to enhance evacuation and minimize chips welding to the cutting edge of the bit while improving surface finish. The end grinds improve bottom cut finishes.

A single flute bit has a faster cut speed than a multiple flute bit and should be used where cut speed is more important than cut finish. Though a single flute bit has a rougher cut than a multiple flute bit, it allows for faster chip clearance and maximum stock removal. Single flute bits are typically more suitable for being used on lower horsepower router.
