This blade is NOT used for woodcutting, but it MUST be used with a wood cutting band saw. DO NOT use a metal-cutting band saw with it.     It cuts abrasive and hardened materials such as wire-reinforced rubber, steel belted radial tires, ceramics, fiberglass, composites, hardened steel, cast iron (grey with voids), graphite, and case-hardened materials.      A gulleted carbide grit bandsaw blade is ideal for cutting 1/4" (6.4mm) or thicker materials; while a continuous blade is ideal for cutting 1/4" (6.4mm) or thinner materials.
