A familiar brown buffing compound is one of the oldest and most widely used buffing compositions for cutting down and bringing out high luster on non-ferrous metals. Fast cutting and bright coloring action have made these compounds a standard for buffing all types of zinc die castings, copper plated work, and aluminum castings. Tripoli is used on tightly sewn buffs and airway buffs.
